Children's Privacy Notice
This is our direct notice to parents under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). It also covers the requirements of GDPR-K (children's data protection in the EU) and Turkey's KVKK. Version: 2026-09-22.

How we get parental consent
Only a parent aged 18 or older can create an account (age is confirmed with birth year). At sign-up you explicitly agree to this notice, the Privacy Policy and the Terms; the consent record is stored with its version.
Consent is completed when you verify your email address (the "email plus" method). Creating child profiles, sharing to the gallery, joining a class and recording sounds are behind the parent gate (PIN) and, where required, a separate approval.
What we collect from your child
We do not collect email, phone, photos, location, real names, school names or contacts. No advertising identifier is collected in a child profile and there is no behavioural advertising.
- A nickname, an avatar choice, birth year and language — entered by you or your child. Nicknames are scanned for personal information (full names, schools, addresses, phone numbers, emails, social handles).
- The projects your child makes, lesson progress, game-style progress (XP, streak, badges) and daily time spent in the app.
- Text your child types into AI features (an idea, a question, a drawing request) — used only to fulfil the request and for safety checks; not stored on our servers.
- If voice input is on, spoken ideas (transcribed; audio not kept); if sound recording is approved, sounds your child records into a project.
How we use it
We do not sell children's information, we do not use it for advertising, and we share it with third parties only as needed to provide the service.
- To run lessons, the studio and publishing, and to show progress.
- To fulfil AI features (Anthropic and OpenAI act as our service providers).
- For safety: personal-information and harmful-content filters and gallery moderation.
- To send you progress reports and approval notifications.
What your child can make public
Your child can publish a project as a private link, to the family, or to a class you approved. Publishing to the public gallery needs your approval and then a moderator review. The gallery shows only the nickname and avatar.
Before publishing, project texts are scanned for personal information; if any is found the publish is blocked and your child sees a gentle explanation. Children cannot message, comment on or follow each other.
Your rights as a parent
You can also exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]; we verify you through your account email.
- Review your child's information: the parent dashboard and "Download data" (a JSON archive).
- Correct it: edit the child profile.
- Delete it: "Delete child" or "Delete account" — data and published apps are deleted immediately.
- Withdraw consent and stop further collection: delete the account or child profile, or write to us. You can also switch off AI, the gallery, voice input and sound recording individually in the controls.
Retention
Children's information is kept while the account is open and removed immediately when deleted. Masked safety records are deleted after 1 year and analytics events after 180 days.
